How much do food boxes cost?
There is no cost to the individual or household.  However, there is an application process required.

Who qualifies for BCFE services?
All those with an emergency food need, meeting at or below 200% of poverty level.

How do I sign up?
Please call (719) 456-2741 or (719) 456-2802 for our intake procedure. Please be sure to leave a message on voicemail should we be unavailable to take your call.

What about weekends and holidays?

BCFE is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to 3 pm.  If you have an emergency, you may call Bob Clark at 719-456-2741 or Pam Chavez at 719-456-2802.

Can someone other than the client receive food?
Yes, the client, upon prior notification (in writing), may have a representative pick-up an application and return with a completed form to pick-up a food box. Verification of residency and a phone number must accompany the application.
